Camp WagonCon – September 23 to 25 2022
This is a unique event that combines the fun of board games and table-top role-playing games with camping on a small farm outside of The Dalles, Oregon.
This small event, with 40 people max (though usually 20 to 30 in attendance), allows everyone to game under tents and canopies in early Fall weather. The event provides tables, tents and pop-ups for gaming.
A simple continental style breakfast is provided Saturday and Sunday morning, with a pizza feed Saturday night. Water, tea, coffee, and juice are also provide throughout the entire event.
Sleeping arrangements: This is a camping event. Be it a tent, tarp, or teepee everyone is expected to bring their own camping arrangements. Arrangements can be made for those who require power for sleeping devices, please make sure the staff know this when you arrive.
Gaming Arrangements: While we provide tables and tents for gaming, we do not provide chairs. Please bring your own folding/camp chairs.
Food & Drinks: While some food is provided, a cook stove will be provided for those who desire more complex meals.
The Great Outdoors meets Gaming: Expect to have the added entertainment of weather while gaming, sometimes rain, sometimes wind (almost definitely), perhaps even a little snow. At night it gets dark, it is recommended that everyone brings a flashlight (with extra batteries), perhaps battery powered lanterns, and other devices to combat the darkness. There are no showers, but we will have high quality porta-potties and hand washing stations, as well as fresh running water.
